Grupo NORS in Porto invites an Accounting Technician to join our Oporto Shared Services. Analyze financial statements, reconcile intercompany balances, manage fixed assets, and support audits.

You will work with international teams, contribute to year-end close, and prepare financial surveys. Requirements: degree in Accounting or related areas, 2+ years experience, SAP, fluent English, strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualificações

• Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or related areas.
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience with SAP is highly valued.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze the company’s financial statements and assist month-end closing.
• Reconcile intercompany balances.
• Manage fixed asset master data and related accounting entries.
• Support internal and external audit processes with documentation.
• Perform year-end closing activities and prepare the Annual Financial Statement.
• Complete various financial surveys and reports as required.

What's the challenge?

• Analyze the company’s financial statements, ensuring the necessary information and corrections formonth-end closing;
• Reconcile intercompany balances;
• Manage and maintain fixed asset master data, including all related accounting transactions;
• Support internal and external audit processes, providing required documentation and insights;
• Perform year-end closing activities and prepare the company’s Annual Financial Statement;
• Complete various financial surveys and statistical reports as required.

What do we expect from you?

• Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting or related areas;
• At least 2 years' experience in a similar role;
• Experience with SAP is highly valued;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
