PwC Services Portugal is seeking an experienced accounting professional to join our team in Porto. You will work within our Tax and Accounting department to service Luxembourg clients, handling day-to-day accounting and tax matters, and supporting mergers, reorganisations, and reporting cycles.

The role focuses on reviewing financial statements, consolidations, GAAP/IFRS conversions, and client file management, while coaching junior staff and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualificações

• Degree in economics or accounting is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in an accounting department.
• Good understanding of European GAAP or IFRS is a plus.
• Luxembourg tax system knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with technology and accounting systems.

Responsabilidades

• Review financial statements or other accounting reports.
• Prepare or review consolidated accounts.
• Prepare/review GAAP conversion files (IFRS/USGAAP).
• Be in charge of day-to-day management of client files, including accounting and tax matters.

Our teams work hand-in-hand with our other lines of service to help our local and international clients in accounting, tax and corporate secretarial matters. We provide comprehensive assistance to companies seeking to set up in Luxembourg and provide continuing support during all their life (i.E. mergers, sales, liquidations, corporate restructuring, etc).

• A degree in economics or accounting (or similar studies);
• An experience of at least 3 years in an accounting department;
• A good understanding of any European GAAP or IFRS is an additional significant asset;
• A knowledgein the Luxembourg Tax system could be an additional significant asset;
• Use of technology;
• An open mindand are willing to work in teams and in a friendly environment;
• English fluency, French, German or any other language would be considered an asset.
