PwC Portugal is seeking a Tax/Compliance professional to join our growing Tax team in Porto. You will work on FATCA and CRS obligations for financial clients and help interpret regulatory requirements. CVs must be submitted in English.

You will collaborate with the Accountancy and Tax Compliance teams to develop tailored client solutions, analyze data, and prepare reports in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Tax, Compliance or related field from a university or higher education institution.
• Able to work at the intersection of Tax, Operations, and Compliance.
• Having training or experience in Data Analysis is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Support clients - primarily financial institutions - on their FATCA and CRS obligations.
• Assist clients in understanding their regulatory requirements, handling annual reporting, and reviewing client information in light of FATCA/CRS obligations. You will need to be comfortable working with databases and data analysis, as well as creating and reviewing client reports.
• Be in close cooperation with all of the teams in the Accountancy and Tax Compliance Department, as well as with other departments in our firm, you will develop tailored client solutions and supervise their implementation.
• Have a training and support program that you can define and tailor according to your specific needs.

Be a Part Of Our Team Where You Will

• Support clients - primarily financial institutions - on their FATCA and CRS obligations;
• Assist clients in understanding their regulatory requirements, handling annual reporting, and reviewing client information in light of FATCA/CRS obligations. You will need to be comfortable working with databases and data analysis, as well as creating and reviewing client reports. A strong consulting dimension is involved, with daily interactions to address client questions related to FATCA and CRS compliance, as well as reviewing investor documentation;
• Be in close cooperation with all of the teams in the Accountancy and Tax Compliance Department, as well as with other departments in our firm, you will develop tailored client solutions and supervise their implementation;
• Have a training and support program that you can define and tailor according to your specific needs.

• Are in your final year of, or already have, a Master's degree in Tax, Compliance or related field from a university or higher education institution;
• Are able to work at the intersection of Tax, Operations, and Compliance;
• Having training or experience in Data Analysis is a strong advantage
• Are keen to work in young, fast-paced and international teams;
• Have good people skills, you like to work as part of a team and you are eager to dive into a major company project where your energy, analytical skills, discipline and intellectual curiosity will guarantee success;
• Are flexible and independent, and you can adapt to sudden changes in working patterns;
• Are proficient in English. Knowledge of French or German would be considered an asset.
