Job summary

Visteon Corporation seeks an Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. You will prepare and reconcile general ledger accounts, support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes, and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP while strengthening internal controls.

You will collaborate with business units to analyze variances, prepare internal and external reports, and support audits. English is required; German is a plus, and AI-enabled efficiency is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing.
• CPA/ACCA or equivalent preferred or in progress.
• Business-level English; German a strong asset.

Mission of Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Analyst to join our finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, supporting reporting processes, and strengthening internal controls. The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver insights, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and reconcile financial statements and general ledger accounts
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
• Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and company accounting policies
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with business units to analyze variances and explain financial results
• Strengthen internal control processes and support audit readiness
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support automation initiatives
• Support risk assessment activities related to financial reporting and controls
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as required

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Previous experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is considered a strong advantage
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred or in progress
• Business-level English required, with German language proficiency considered a strong asset
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
