SBM Offshore in Porto invites an Accountant for an eight-month temporary position. The role covers local and international entity accounting under IFRS and local GAAP, with tax and treasury involvement.

Key tasks include monthly closings, IFRS consolidation analysis, audit liaison, contract reviews, and preparation of tax packages. A finance-related degree and minimum two years' experience are required, with IFRS knowledge and ERP proficiency highly valued.

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level or equivalent in accounting/finance required.
• Minimum 2 years in accounting/audit environment or similar.
• Knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP beneficial.
• Experience with IFRS 15/IFRS 16 and IAS 37 a plus.
• Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ERP proficiency.
• Excellent internal controls and process improvement mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Group accounting policies are applied across entities.
• Maintain internal controls and IcoFr framework adherence.
• Execute monthly closing tasks and prepare monthly packages for partners.
• Support quarterly close including IFRS consolidation and tax coordination.
• Assist with annual financial statements, audits, and ad hoc requests.
