FairPlay Engineering is seeking a BIM Engineer to develop and coordinate 3D models for complex infrastructure and energy projects, with a focus on accuracy and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

You will work closely with engineers, designers and construction teams to ensure reliable project information throughout the lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on avoiding design conflicts and improving workflows. The role includes a premium relocation package for moving to the Netherlands.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, construction, BIM or related fields.
• Experience as BIM Engineer/Coordinator/Modeler in digital engineering roles.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Digital engineering and BIM form an integral part of their project delivery approach, helping to improve collaboration, reduce project risk, and enhance design quality.

Vacancy Information

As a BIM Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating BIM models for complex infrastructure and energy projects. Working closely with engineers, designers, project managers, and construction teams, you will ensure that project information is accurately represented and effectively coordinated across all disciplines.

This role is about more than creating models. You will play a key part in supporting project delivery by improving coordination, identifying design conflicts before construction, and ensuring that project information remains reliable and accessible throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary engineering models and identifying potential clashes and design conflicts.
• Supporting engineers and designers with model-based design solutions and technical documentation.
• Ensuring BIM standards, protocols, and project requirements are consistently applied.
• Managing model revisions, project information, and data exchanges between stakeholders.
• Producing drawings, schedules, and project documentation from BIM models.
• Working with project teams to improve BIM workflows and digital engineering processes.
• Supporting the successful delivery of infrastructure projects through accurate and coordinated project information.

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree or vocational qualification in Engineering, Construction, BIM, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience as a BIM Engineer, BIM Coordinator, BIM Modeler, or in a similar digital engineering role.
• Strong proficiency with BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering, infrastructure, industrial, construction, or utility projects.
• Understanding of BIM methodologies, model coordination, and information management processes.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to technical work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
