A FairPlay Engineering está recrutando um Engenheiro Eletricista Sénior para desenhar sistemas elétricos industriais em baixa, média e alta tensão, contribuindo para eficiência energética e segurança operacional.

O candidato ideal possui 7+ anos em consultoria, fortes cálculos elétricos, AutoCAD, Intelec e Caneco, além de inglês fluente e capacidade de trabalhar em equipa multidisciplinar.

Qualificações

• Bacharelado ou superior em Engenharia Elétrica ou disciplina relacionada.
• Pelo menos 7 anos de experiência em consultoria de engenharia.
• Proficiente em cálculos de sistemas elétricos (cabos, curto-circuito, iluminação).
• Conhecimento de AutoCAD para design e documentação.

Responsabilidades

• Desenhar sistemas elétricos em níveis baixo, médio e alto tensão para projetos industriais.
• Realizar cálculos complexos, incluindo curto-circuito, carga, emergência e iluminação.
• Traduzir requisitos do cliente em designs práticos e otimizados.
• Preparar documentação técnica como relatórios, diagramas e listas de equipamentos.
• Fornecer suporte técnico e trabalhar com equipes multidisciplinares.

Industrial electrical engineering at its best is not just about getting the calculations right. It is about understanding what a project actually needs, translating that into a design that works in the real world, and delivering it in an environment where multiple disciplines are depending on your output. If that is how you approach your work, this role is built for someone like you.

The scope is broad and genuinely varied. Emergency power systems, lighting, motors and drives, earthing, lightning protection, short-circuit analysis, load flow studies, and cable sizing all fall within your remit depending on the project.

You will be the engineer that translates client requirements into practical, optimised technical solutions. That means getting into the detail across all project phases, producing quality documentation, providing sound technical advice, and working alongside other disciplines to make sure the electrical design integrates cleanly into the wider project. The work contributes directly to emission reduction, energy savings, and operational safety improvements in demanding industrial environments including waste processing and steel manufacturing.

You will have the flexibility to work from client sites or from the company's modern, well-equipped office depending on project requirements and your own preference.

Vacancy Information

As Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take a key technical role in designing electrical systems for industrial and energy-related projects across the low, medium, and high-voltage domains.

• Designing electrical systems across low, medium, and high-voltage domains for a range of industrial and energy projects.


• Performing complex electrical calculations including short-circuit analysis, load flow studies, cable sizing, emergency power systems, and lighting calculations.


• Translating client requirements into practical, optimised technical designs across all phases of a project.


• Preparing technical documentation including reports, diagrams, schematics, layouts, and equipment lists to the required standard.


• Providing technical advice and engineering support to project teams and clients throughout the project lifecycle.


• Collaborating with engineers from other disciplines within a multidisciplinary 3D project environment.


• Contributing to projects focused on emission reduction, energy efficiency, and operational safety in industrial environments.

What You Need

• Bachelor degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience within an engineering consultancy environment with solid hands-on exposure across low, medium, and high-voltage electrical system design.


• Proficiency in electrical system calculations covering cable sizing, short-circuit analysis, emergency power, and lighting design.


• Skilled in AutoCAD for electrical design and documentation.


• Knowledge of Intelec and Caneco is a strong advantage.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to deliver technically sound, practical solutions under real project conditions.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team across project phases.


• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
