Visa Hunt is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to support large, complex projects in Portugal. You will work with the project manager to maintain a holistic view of the project, delivering planning, forecasts, management reports and analyses covering time, cost, risk and scope.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Industrial, Civil, or Business Engineering, is fluent in English and Portuguese, and has strong interest in IT tools.

Responsabilidades

• Act as trusted advisor to the project manager on project controls.

• Own planning and control processes; perform Earned Value, scenario planning and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance on potential claims to the project manager and team.
• Master project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project.

The Position

As a Project Controls Engineer, you will play a key role in large and complex projects, providing essential insights through data analysis. Working closely with the project manager, you will maintain a holistic view of the project, delivering planning, forecasts, management reports, and analyses covering time scheduling, cost, risk, and scope. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to the project manager within the area of project controls.
• Understand the technical aspects of the project and translate them into a comprehensive project plan.
• Take ownership of the planning and control process, performing advanced analyses such as Earned Value, scenario planning, and risk assessments.
• Provide guidance to the project manager and team regarding potential claims.
• Utilize and master project management software tools, including Primavera P6 and MS Project(preferable).
