Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Vice President, Financial Controller to lead a team of financial controllers, overseeing the General Ledger month-end close for multiple EMEA entities within Global HR.

You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of books and records for compensation and benefits. The role requires 5+ years of leadership, deep technical expertise in general ledger entries, balance sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, internal controls, and participation in audits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in General Ledger month-end close and financial reporting.
• 5+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
• Strong accounting proficiency with US GAAP and controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR accounting and reporting across certain EMEA locations.
• Ensure adherence to financial control activities and SOX compliance.
• Lead and develop the team; collaborate with HR, Legal, Tax, payroll and auditors.
• Support and drive HR accounting automation and entity changes.
• Provide leadership in performance reviews and onboarding.
