Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC seeks an Associate Financial Controller responsible for the General Ledger month-end close across multiple entities within the HR organisation. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of books, perform balance sheet substantiation, and engage in internal controls and audits.

Responsibilities include overseeing the month-end close for compensation entries, analytics and reporting to stakeholders, and collaboration with HR, Tax, and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience with month end close in a finance/accounting role.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP accounting practices.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to perform analytics.
• Proven ability to collaborate with HR, Legal Entity Controllers and Tax teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of month end close for compensation-related GL entries.
• Compensation expense analytics and reporting to stakeholders.
• Balance Sheet analytics, reconciliation, and substantiation.
• Interaction with HR, corporate functions, FP&A, and internal/external audit groups.
• Participation in financial control activities including SOX and risk assessment.
• Document and maintain process controls and procedures.
