Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Warsaw, Poland is seeking an Associate Financial Controller to manage the General Ledger month-end close for multiple HR entities, ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and internal controls.

You will lead GL entries, balance sheet substantiation, and variance analysis, while coordinating with HR, finance, tax, and audit teams to support SOX compliance and overall financial integrity.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in GL month end close and financial reporting.
• Part qualified accountant with working US GAAP knowledge.
• Strong Excel skills; familiarity with low-code analytics platforms preferred.
• Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and analytical capabilities with deadline-driven delivery.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close, ensuring all compensation-related entries are accurately booked to the general ledger.
• Deliver compensation expense analytics and reporting to internal stakeholders.
• Perform HR and Payroll Balance Sheet analytics and reporting, including reconciliation and substantiation.
• Engage with HR teams, corporate functions, FP&A, Legal Entity Controllers, Tax, external vendors, business partners, and audit groups.
• Participate in SOX compliance and Risk & Control Self-Assessment activities.
• Document and maintain a detailed understanding of all activities.
