HSBC Holdings plc in Kraków is seeking an experienced finance professional to support the ESG Financial Controller and collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive the Group’s ESG agenda. The role involves coordinating across Sustainability, Data Office and Finance Change Delivery teams on new initiatives and disclosing requirements.

You’ll ensure robust assurance, coordinate 1LOD/2LOD activities, and contribute to ESG content in Group reports while managing disclosures and engaging

Qualifications

• Quantitative degree with professional education in Finance.
• 7+ years’ experience within Finance at a major institution.
• Strong ESG knowledge, especially climate-related.
• Fluent English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the ESG Financial Controller and drive the Group’s ESG agenda with senior stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sustainability, Data Office and Finance Change Delivery teams on new initiatives.
• Strengthen assurance framework with 1LOD/2LOD coordination.
• Review ESG content in Group Interim and Annual Reports and reflect into disclosures.
• Assist management of disclosures including log, legal comments, and cross-functional contributions.
• Engage with key stakeholders to deliver new metrics in response to regulations.
