Job summary

Belvedere Recruitment seeks a VP Financial Accounting Operations for a global banking group in Krakow, Poland. You will lead period end close, IFRS/FINREP reporting and balance sheet reconciliation, while driving strategic and tactical transformation within accounting operations.

You will supervise a high-performing finance team, manage stakeholder relationships and ensure compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements, delivering robust financial controls.

Qualifications

• CA or MBA with 10+ years post-qualification experience
• Proven experience in financial services within ledger close and reporting processes
• Strong IFRS and Local GAAP knowledge
• Direct IFRS and FINREP reporting experience
• Experience with statutory reporting (desirable)
• Balance sheet substantiation and close expertise
• Risk, controls and compliance understanding
• Auditor interaction experience
• SOX-related activities preferred
• Project management with PowerPoint/presentation capabilities
• Knowledge of FTP, Saracen and Tableau
• Proven ability to drive results and transformation
• Excellent analytical skills with data interpretation
• Strong written and verbal English communication
