Job summary

Citi in Warsaw, Poland is seeking an intermediate Valuation Control Analyst to contribute to Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes. Hybrid work up to 2 days home per week with a competitive salary package.

The role requires 1-2 years of finance experience, strong Excel skills, and solid English proficiency. You will prepare valuation reports and support regulatory reporting while developing pricing controls and methods.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred experience in Finance, Controllers, Accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
• Good knowledge of banking products, especially in the Retail Banking area.
• Understanding of accounting principles.
• Very good knowledge of English in spoken and written form.

Responsibilities

• Develop and carry out price testing for derivatives on FX and interest rates markets.
• Develop valuation adjustments methodologies and performing relevant calculations.
• Compile data to produce detailed Valuation reports for Desk Heads, Controllers and Risk summarizing the valuation control results across the Business.
• Ensure appropriate regulatory reporting on monthly basis.
• Create and maintain relevant process documentation.
• Enhance existing control framework by reviewing pricing processes, assessing potential coverage developments and implementing new tools to enhance control efficiency.
• Developing strong working relationships with the Desk, Finance, Audit, Quant and Market Risk partners throughout the firm.
• Ad-hoc projects that arise relating to further streamlining or retirement of existing systems or assisting in the introduction of new systems.
• Performing ad hoc analysis on any new pricing issues.

Role Overview
