Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG in Poland seeks an intermediate Valuation Control Analyst to contribute to independent price verification, valuation adjustment and fair value hierarchy processes.

You will solve valuation issues with limited supervision, analyze data, identify control gaps, and maintain procedure notes while promoting risk awareness and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

Team/Role Overview

The Valuation Control Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for contributing to the Independent Price Verification, Valuation Adjustment and Fair Value Hierarchy processes. Responsibilities include: Solve valuation issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems Apply in-depth knowledge of industry standards and practices to daily tasks Identify process gaps and control issues Analyse situations and data utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies Select the best pre-defined procedure to resolve issues and seek guidance when necessary Follow and maintain accurate and complete procedure notes and associated maker checker responsibilities. Escalate anomalies and issues in an efficient and timely manner Interpret data, identify inconsistencies through research and recommend solutions based on analysis Develop knowledge of how team interacts with others to accomplish Valuation Control goals Apply in-depth knowledge of product valuation, industry practices and standards Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business Communicate information clearly and succinctly Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
