Job summary

Andersen is seeking a UX Researcher with German to support a large infrastructure project. You will design and maintain accessible, consistent interfaces using the Nova Design System, producing UI components, prototypes, specs, and style guides.

Responsibilities include reporting insights, personas, journey maps, service blueprints, and usability testing with actionable recommendations. Strong German and English required; HCI/Design background preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of UX research experience.
• Degree in HCI, Design or related field.
• Certifications in UX Research, UX Design or Usability Testing.
• Training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• English and German at Upper-Intermediate+.

• Analyze surveys and findings for trends and statistics.
• Create user personas defining archetypes and needs.

Our customer is a large infrastructure organization focused on operating and enhancing complex, business-critical systems.

The project is focused on designing and maintaining consistent, accessible, and user-friendly digital interfaces based on the Nova Design System. It includes creating UI components, high-fidelity prototypes, design specifications, and style guides, as well as continuously enhancing the design system to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing user research reports summarizing key insights, pain points, and opportunities.
• Analyzing surveys and findings, including response trends and statistical insights.
• Creating user personas that define archetypical users and their needs.
• Preparing user journey maps detailing end-to-end user interactions and friction points.
• Developing service blueprints outlining touchpoints between users, frontstage, and backstage processes.
• Preparing usability testing reports with performance metrics, identified issues, and improvement recommendations.
• Developing research-backed design recommendations to support product development.

Must-haves:

• Experience in UX Research for 2+ years.
• Experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design (according to skill levels in section 3), or related fields.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design).
• Certifications in UX Research, UX Design, Design Thinking, or Usability Testing (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, UX Research Academy).
• Training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies,
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
