Job summary

Andersen is seeking a UI Designer with German to design accessible interfaces and contribute to a scalable Nova Design System. You will create UI components, high-fidelity prototypes, and specifications for cross‑platform implementation, while ensuring accessibility and usability compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in HCI/design, certifications in UI/UX, and strong qualitative/quantitative research skills, with English and German at Upper-Intermediate or higher. On-site in Warsaw, Poland.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design UI components aligned with the Nova Design System Library.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for stakeholders.
• Define design specs for colors, typography, spacing and usage.
• Prepare and maintain UI style guides for cross-platform implementation.
• Update Nova Design System components with new patterns and refinements.
• Prepare accessibility reports and validate with usability standards.

Project:

Designing and maintaining consistent, accessible, user-friendly interfaces based on the Nova Design System. Includes creating UI components, high-fidelity prototypes, design specifications, and style guides, while continuously enhancing the design system for a consistent cross-platform experience.

Responsibilities:

• Designing UI components aligned with the Nova Design System Library
• Creating high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes for stakeholder validation
• Defining design specifications for colors, typography, spacing, and component usage
• Preparing and maintaining UI style guides for consistent cross-platform implementation
• Updating and evolving Nova Design System components, including new patterns and refinements
• Preparing accessibility reports and validating with usability and accessibility standards

Must-haves:

• Experience in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or related fields for 2+ years.
• Professional certifications in UI Design, Graphic Design, UX, or Design Thinking (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group UX Certification, UX Research Academy or equivalent).
• Training in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
• Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate+ and above.
