Job summary

UpcoMinds is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to own user experience and interface design across enterprise-scale digital solutions. You will work with Product Owners, Developers, QA, Core Teams and stakeholders, delivering requirements analysis through design and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on UX/UI or GUI design, a Level 6 degree in a related field, and English at CEFR C1. Remote work is offered with opportunities on large banking systems.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced UI /UX Designer to join our team and take ownership of user experience and interface design across complex, enterprise-level digital solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in UX/UI and GUI design, with a user-centred approach and a proven ability to transform business and user requirements into intuitive, accessible and implementation-ready digital experiences.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, Core Teams and business stakeholders, contributing throughout the complete product lifecycle - from requirements analysis and ideation to design, testing, implementation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user experiences from initial requirements through production across multiple applications and micro-frontends.

• Translate business and user requirements into intuitive, scalable and user-centred experiences.

• Create user flows, personas, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.

• Create interactive prototypes and validate design concepts through usability testing and user feedback.

• Own, evolve and maintain the Figma Design System, including reusable components, patterns, guidelines and documentation.

• Establish and maintain consistent UI patterns and visual standards across products and applications.

• Participate in backlog refinement and sprint planning to clarify UX scope, behaviour, dependencies and design requirements.

• Ensure designs are responsive, accessible and consistent across different devices and applications.

• Apply accessibility principles and WCAG guidelines to ensure inclusive user experiences.

• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented.

• Review implemented solutions and provide design feedback to development teams.

• Work closely with Product Owners, QA, developers, Core Teams and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

• Support requirements analysis and contribute to testing and quality assurance activities from a UX perspective.

• Facilitate design reviews, ideation sessions, design sprints and usability workshops where required.

• Analyse user feedback, behavioural data and product metrics to identify usability and conversion opportunities.

• Continuously improve existing experiences through research, testing, analytics and iterative design.

• Produce clear design specifications and implementation documentation for development teams.

• Maintain accurate design documentation, annotations and versioning within Figma.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on professional experience as a UX/UI, GUI or Product Designer.

• At least 8 years of combined post-secondary education and professional experience.

• Level 6 degree in Computer Science, Interaction Design, UX/UI Design or a related field.

• C1 level of English, according to CEFR.

• Proven participation in at least 3 successfully implemented projects in the role of UX/UI or GUI Designer.

• Experience covering the complete product/software lifecycle, from requirements and design through implementation, testing and production.

• Strong understanding of User-Centred Design (UCD) methodologies.

• Experience collaborating with backend developers and integrating frontend solutions with server-side technologies.

• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and provide guidance to junior designers or team members.

• Ability to create professional design specifications, concept documents and technical/user documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
