Citigroup Inc. in Poland is seeking a Trade Service Professional to support UK and European corporate clients within Global Trade Operations.

You will handle transaction preparation, processing, system access, and provide comprehensive customer service to multiple trade products. The role emphasizes policy knowledge, analytical thinking, teamwork, and strong English skills; there is a hybrid work model (up to 2 days home per week) with a broad benefits program and potential incentive

Responsibilities

• Obtaining and applying Citi's Trade-related policies, Trade Accounting Principles per Standard Banking Practices and ICC rules to actual transactions.
• Analyzing presented transactions and identifying feasibility within sound banking practices.
• Guiding others on Citi’s Trade policies, procedures and standards; explaining process flows and execution timelines.
• Understanding differences between Legal Documentation and Commercial documentation; identifying relevant documents.
• Navigating various applications/systems infrastructure and understanding internal/external dependencies.

Team/Role Overview

The Trade Service Professional is a key unit within the Global Trade Operations, with servicing experience responsibilities for a group of several trade products to Western Europe, supporting several Citigroup businesses (Trade Loans, Receivables Finance and Core Trade).The CSC Trade TSP based in Olsztyn supports UK and European corporate clients and various FIs about general information regarding transaction preparation, processing, system access and full attendance of customer service needs. In striving to achieve high quality delivery the organization works closely with business partners, Trade Specialist, Product, Onboarding, Branches and relevant internal service providers networking within the Bank.

Responsibilities:

• Obtaining and applying the wider knowledge of Citi's Trade-related policies, Trade Accounting Principles in accordance to Standard Banking Practices and ICC applicable rules to actual Trade transactions
• Analyzing presented transactions and identifying if such transactions are feasible and within sound banking practices
• Guiding others on the application of Citi’s Trade policies, procedures and standards, understands and explaining the respective process flows as well as the execution of the process including timelines
• Grasping the differences between Legal Documentation and Commercial documentation. Understanding of legal vehicle, business and transaction structure. Understands and differentiates documents (Shipping documents, Credit Agreements, Application Forms, etc.)
• Ability to navigate through the various applications / systems infrastructure and understanding system infrastructure internal/external dependencies
