Job summary

Exalto Consulting is seeking an experienced TMS Application Specialist to configure and support European Transport Management Systems. You will translate operational requirements into system solutions and help users maximize application value.

Responsibilities span troubleshooting, testing, UAT, vendor coordination, and migrations, with a focus on data reporting and integrations via EDI or APIs. You will work independently within a broader international IT team.

Qualifications

• Experience with a Transport Management System (TMS) such as Soloplan CarLo, Blue Yonder TMS, or similar.
• Understanding of transport, logistics or freight forwarding processes.
• Hands-on configuration and troubleshooting experience.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Service-minded and comfortable supporting business users.
• Able to work independently while collaborating with international IT and operational teams.

• Create reports and analyse TMS data using SQL, Crystal Reports or Power BI.
• Support integrations between TMS platforms, customers and partners through EDI or APIs.
• Maintain technical documentation, business requirements and knowledge base materials.
• Identify opportunities to continuously improve and digitalise our transport processes.

My client are a Global Logistics organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced TMS Application Specialist.

You will configure and support European Transport Management Systems, translate operational requirements into system solutions and help users get the most out of our applications. The work can range from troubleshooting and configuration to new implementations, system improvements, testing and migrations.

You will work independently on local requirements while being part of a wider international IT team across Europe.
