Job summary

Yusen Logistics is seeking a TMS Manager to lead the regional Transport Management Systems team within Cluster East, delivering reliable IT support and continuous improvement across Europe. You will bridge IT and Transport Operations, translate our European TMS strategy into regional priorities, and guide a high‑performing team while collaborating with stakeholders across Poland and Europe.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Logistics or related field.
  • 2–5 years in a team leader or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of transport and logistics processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Transport Management Systems.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Understanding of EDI, APIs and system interfaces.
  • Experience with reporting tools; Crystal Reports knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good project management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.

  • Connect IT and Transport Operations, translating business needs into practical and effective TMS solutions.
  • Oversee TMS incidents and requests and ensure agreed service levels are achieved.
  • Provide hands-on support where required across TMS configuration, reporting, interfaces, analysis, documentation and technical advice.
  • Act as a regional escalation point for TMS-related topics.
  • Manage or contribute to regional and European TMS implementation and improvement projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement, standardisation and innovation across the regional TMS environment.
  • Manage team resources, priorities, performance and development.
  • Take ownership of the regional TMS budget while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

To further strengthen our European IT organisation, we are looking for a TMS Manager to lead our Transport Management Systems activities within Cluster East.

Your Role

As TMS Manager, you will lead and develop the regional TMS team while ensuring the reliable delivery, support and continuous improvement of our Transport Management Systems.

You will operate at the intersection of IT and Transport Operations, combining people leadership with hands-on TMS expertise. Working closely with stakeholders across Poland, Cluster East and the wider European organisation, you will translate our European TMS strategy into regional priorities and ensure our systems effectively support the needs of the business.

Alongside leading the team, you will act as a key escalation point and contribute directly to technical solutions, system improvements and TMS projects.

Who You Are
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably within IT, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Around 2-5 years of relevant experience in a team leader or managerial position.
  • Strong knowledge of transport and logistics processes.
  • Good working knowledge of Transport Management Systems.
  • Comfortable remaining technically involved while leading and developing a team.
  • Knowledge of SQL and databases.
  • Understanding of EDI, APIs and system interfaces.
  • Experience with reporting tools; Crystal Reports knowledge is an advantage.
  • Good project management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident in working with stakeholders across different functions, countries and levels of seniority.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Service-minded, proactive and passionate about logistics, technology and digitalisation.
