Yusen Logistics is seeking a TMS Application Specialist in Poland to bridge transport operations and IT, enabling local and regional TMS initiatives. You will configure, support and optimize our Transport Management Systems and translate operational requirements into practical solutions.

You will work with international IT and operational teams, perform testing, migrations, and enhancements, and help users maximize system benefits. English proficiency is essential for collaboration across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in TMS, transport/logistics apps or IT application support.
• Experience with Transport Management Systems such as Soloplan CarLo, Blue Yonder TMS, OTM, Transporeon, Manhattan TMS, Cargowise or e2Open.
• Good command of English and ability to work with international teams.

TMS APPLICATION SPECIALIST

To strengthen our IT organisation within Cluster East, we are looking for a TMS Application Specialist based in Poland. If you understand transport operations, enjoy working with systems and like turning business requirements into practical solutions, this could be a great next step.

Your Role

As TMS Application Specialist, you will be the link between transport operations and IT, supporting our local operations while also contributing to regional and European TMS initiatives.

You will configure and support our Transport Management Systems, translate operational requirements into system solutions and help users get the most out of our applications. Your work can range from troubleshooting and configuration to new implementations, system improvements, testing and migrations.

You will work independently on local requirements while being part of a wider international IT team across Cluster East and Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support Transport Management Systems based on operational and business requirements


• Translate business needs into functional and technical TMS solutions


• Troubleshoot incidents and requests and provide effective support to users


• Test new functionalities, configuration changes and system upgrades, including support during UAT


• Work with TMS vendors and development teams on enhancements and improvements


• Support regional and European TMS implementations, projects and migrations


• Create reports and analyse TMS data using tools such as SQL, Crystal Reports or Power BI


• Support integrations between TMS platforms, customers and partners through EDI or APIs


• Maintain technical documentation, business requirements and knowledge base materials


• Identify opportunities to continuously improve and digitalise our transport processes

Who You Are

• Around 2–5 years of relevant experience, ideally within TMS, transport/logistics applications or IT application support


• Experience working with a Transport Management System such as Soloplan CarLo, Blue Yonder TMS, OTM, Transporeon, Manhattan TMS, Cargowise, e2Open or similar


• Understanding of transport, logistics or freight forwarding processes


• Hands-on technical mindset with experience in application configuration and troubleshooting


• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL is a strong advantage


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Service-minded and comfortable supporting business users


• Able to work independently while collaborating with international IT and operational teams


• Good command of English


• University degree is not required; practical experience and technical capability are what matter most
