Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a field service technician to maintain and repair Thermal Management products and other contracted systems. You will establish rapport with customers, sales managers and distributors, and coordinate with scheduling teams and the department manager.

You will travel up to 50% and work in a safety-conscious environment, applying current codes and best practices. English language skills are a plus, and a valid B-class driving license is required.

Qualifications

• Technical school background, university degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.
• Good knowledge of HVAC products and principles.
• Social competence, ability to work in a team and motivate others, assertiveness
• 3-5 or more years of experience in position where technical competence is required
• Spoken and written English is a plus
• Driver's license category B

Responsibilities

• Respond in a professional manner to all assigned service calls while on duty.
• Perform all work in a safe manner and in accordance with established company safety policy.
• Perform all work using good working practice and current codes of practice/legislation relevant to assigned task.
• Assist in ensuring that the planned maintenance completion rate is maintained at a min 90%.
• Keep scheduling team informed of changes to your schedule and the status of all open jobs.
