Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators at customer sites worldwide. You will act as a hands-on technical expert, ensuring safety, high quality, and customer satisfaction in an international field service environment.

You will join a multinational team, troubleshoot complex mechanical issues, read drawings, and support junior technicians while complying with EHS and quality

Qualifications

• Hands on experience as a mechanical technician.
• Experience with gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators is an advantage.
• Ability to read, understand, and work with technical drawings and documentation.
• Working knowledge of English sufficient for technical documentation and communication.
• Willingness to travel worldwide and work for extended periods away from home.
• Team oriented mindset with strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site mechanical installation, maintenance, and repair of gas turbines, steam turbines, or generators.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex mechanical issues at customer sites.
• Apply technical drawings, schematics, and service documentation to perform work accurately.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Work in strict compliance with EHS, quality standards, and site procedures, including documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate within a multinational field service team and support the development of junior technicians.
