Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to commission, service, and troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment across customer sites. You will support PCS, ESS, and PV/ inverter systems, diagnose faults, and perform preventative maintenance. Travel up to 70% is required.

The role demands strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with engineering teams for continuous product improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years commissioning, servicing, or troubleshooting industrial electrical equipment.
• Strong understanding of three-phase power systems and power electronics.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and industrial networking.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning, startup, testing, and validation of PCS, ESS, and PVI systems at customer sites.
• Provide preventive maintenance, inspections, firmware upgrades, and system health checks.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and control system issues.
• Deliver onsite and remote technical support in a timely manner.
• Prepare commissioning reports and collaborate with engineering and product teams.
