Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a field service engineer to maintain and repair Thermal Management products and other contracted systems. You will build rapport with customers and coordinate with sales managers, distributors, and field teams.

The role involves travel, on-site work, and adherence to safety and ITC standards. Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background with HVAC knowledge, strong teamwork and communication skills, and 3–5+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Technical school background or university degree in engineering.
• Good knowledge of HVAC products and principles.
• 3–5+ years in a technical role with relevant competence.
• Spoken and written English is a plus.
• Driver’s license category B.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls in a professional manner.
• Work safely and follow company safety policy.
• Maintain maintenance completion rate at a minimum of 90%.
• Keep scheduling team informed of changes and status.
• Close tasks in VMFS and complete daily/weekly paperwork.
• Report leads to the proper department and support business needs.
• Collaborate as part of the service team and travel as required.
• Ensure compliance with ITC certification program.
