Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Test Manager (freelance) to define and implement QA strategies across complex technology projects. You will design and monitor testing lifecycles, establish governance, and manage releases with stakeholders across international teams.

The role requires strong leadership, fluent English, and experience in delivery management, QA, and project governance. You will drive continuous improvements and contribute to PwC brand growth in a client-facing, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Delivery Management, QA, or Technology Project Management.
• Knowledge of PMI PMBOK and Agile PM.
• Experience delivering projects in international environments.
• Experience managing stakeholders, timelines, risks, and quality.
• Fluent English, strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Test Manager (freelance)

Your future role:

• Define and implement QA strategies across complex technology projects,
• Design, monitor, and improve development and testing lifecycles,
• Establish quality gates, KPIs, and governance processes to ensure high-quality delivery,
• Manage release activities, including planning, readiness validation, sign-off, and stakeholder communication,
• Conduct quality audits and peer reviews,
• Ensure compliance with delivery processes and drive continuous improvements,
• Lead international and remote teams while managing stakeholder expectations,
• Build and maintain strong client relationships,
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the PwC brand.

Apply if you have:

• At least 10 years of experience in Delivery Management, Quality Assurance, or Technology Project Management,
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies,
• Knowledge of project management standards such as PMI PMBOK® and Agile PM,
• Proven experience delivering projects in international environments,
• Experience managing stakeholders, timelines, risks, and quality across complex projects,
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills,
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments,
• Excellent organisational and time management skills,
• Fluent English, both written and spoken,
• A client-oriented and results-driven mindset.

Nice to have:

• Experience leading large-scale, multi-platform testing programmes from strategy through execution,
• Experience in enterprise QA governance and quality transformations,
• Consulting experience within complex, client-facing environments,
• Knowledge of release management and software quality assurance best practices.
