Job summary

PwC Polska is seeking a Test Manager (freelance) to lead quality assurance across complex technology projects. You will define QA strategies, monitor lifecycles, and ensure governance with KPIs and risk mitigation, coordinating across international and remote teams.

You should have 10+ years in Delivery Management or Software QA, strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall, and experience with PMI PMBOK/ Agile PM. Fluent English required and client-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

Define and implement QA strategies across complex technology projects.
Design, monitor, and improve development and testing lifecycles.
Establish quality gates, KPIs, and governance processes to ensure high-quality delivery.
Manage release activities, including planning, readiness validation, sign-off, and stakeholder communication.
Conduct quality audits and peer reviews.
Ensure compliance with delivery processes and drive continuous improvements.
Lead international and remote teams while managing stakeholder expectations.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the PwC brand.
