Job summary

Madiff is seeking an experienced Test Lead to join a large-scale banking transformation. You will define and coordinate testing for a new corporate credit platform, lead a testers team, and ensure quality across delivery stages through planning, API validation, and close collaboration with development and business teams.

The role requires 6+ years of QA, 2+ years in a lead role, expertise in Postman, SoapUI and SQL testing, strong SDLC knowledge, and fluent English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA experience with 2+ years in a lead or test manager role.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman and SoapUI, plus SQL-based testing.
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-stream testing in enterprise environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• English and Polish proficiency; banking/financial project background preferred.

The role focuses on defining and coordinating testing activities for a new corporate credit platform, leading a team of testers, and ensuring quality across all delivery stages through strong planning, API validation, and collaboration with development and business teams.

Responsibilities:

• Define, plan, and coordinate functional, integration, and regression testing activities
• Supervise a team of manual and automation testers, providing guidance and structure
• Manage defect lifecycle and test reporting across multiple development streams
• Drive implementation of API testing and SQL validation practices
• Collaborate closely with project management, development, and business analysis teams
• Support the setup of automated test frameworks and CI/CD integrations
• Maintain alignment with enterprise QA standards and release governance

Requirements

• 6+ years' total QA experience, including 2+ years in a lead or test manager position
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC processes
• Hands-on experience with Postman , SoapUI , and SQL-based testing
• Proven ability to coordinate multi-stream testing in enterprise environments
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• English and Polish - full working proficiency
• Background in financial or banking projects

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Appium
• ISTQB certification (Advanced or Test Manager level)
