Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking an experienced QA professional to lead testing across mobile, API, and UI layers on a customer-facing software project. You will define testing strategies, coordinate manual and automated testing, and mentor junior team members in an Agile environment.

Based in Krakow with hybrid work options, you will collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams, drive quality improvements, support release governance, and ensure high-quality software releases

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Hands-on testing across mobile, API, and UI layers.
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies and plans.
• Strong knowledge of QA best practices and SDLC.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
• Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Fluent English and Polish.

Job description

You will join a customer-facing software project and take ownership of quality assurance activities across mobile, API, and UI layers. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to define testing strategies, identify risks, improve QA processes, and ensure high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.

• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and QA approaches
• Analyze requirements and identify testing scope and quality risks
• Execute and coordinate manual and automated testing activities
• Perform mobile, API, and UI testing
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on quality-related topics
• Prepare test documentation, reports, and quality metrics

• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and quality assurance best practices
• Hands-on experience with mobile, API, and UI testing
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies and test plans
• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders
• Ability to define testing scope, assess quality risks, and recommend mitigation actions
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile development practices
• Experience with Git Experience with JIRA and test management tools

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality decisions
