As a Mid-Level QA Engineer – Banking & Financial Services, you will be working for our client, a leading banking institution committed to revolutionizing financial solutions and enhancing customer experiences. Your main responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing scenarios to ensure system functionality and reliability
- Conduct API testing using POSTMAN and Bruno, ensuring seamless data exchange and performance
- Design and implement automation scripts and test data to streamline testing processes
- Perform frontend and backend testing, including workflow and integration tests
- Identify and analyze bugs, providing detailed reports and collaborating with development teams
- Apply testing techniques and tools to improve overall quality and efficiency
- Use Jira and X-ray for test management and reporting
- Collaborate within an agile environment to deliver high-quality, timely solutions
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in the banking industry
- Solid knowledge of testing techniques, tools, and scripting for both front-end and back-end applications
- Hands‑on experience with API testing, SQL, and test automation
- Familiarity with Jira and X-ray
- Strong ability to design and run detailed testing scenarios
- Good command of English (B2 level) and Polish
- Knowledge of Java is a plus but not required
- ISTQB certification is an advantage
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience with test framework creation for back-end solutions
- Knowledge of automation testing tools
- Agile methodology experience
