Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a senior QA Engineer to own testing strategies across mobile, API and UI layers. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and development teams in an Agile environment to identify risks and ensure high-quality software releases.

You will define test plans, coordinate manual and automated testing, perform cross-functional QA, mentor junior team members, and support automation framework improvements.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain test strategies, test plans, and QA approaches
• Analyze requirements and identify testing scope and quality risks
• Execute and coordinate manual and automated testing activities
• Perform mobile, API, and UI testing
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on quality-related topics
• Prepare test documentation, reports, and quality metrics
• Support automation strategy and framework improvements
• Drive quality initiatives and recommend mitigation actions
• Mentor and support junior QA team members
• Cooperate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure successful releases
• At least 7 years of commercial experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong knowledge of testing techniques and quality assurance best practices
• Hands-on experience with mobile, API, and UI testing
• Experience creating and maintaining test strategies and test plans
• Experience working directly with clients and business stakeholders
• Ability to define testing scope, assess quality risks, and recommend mitigation actions
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
• Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and Agile development practices
• Experience with Git Experience with JIRA and test management tools

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality decisions

You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to define testing strategies, identify risks, improve QA processes, and ensure high-quality software releases in an Agile environment.
