What You’ll Do
- Own and evolve automated testing processes for the application portfolio—frameworks, standards, tools, and best practices.
- Design and implement test strategies across unit, API, integration, and E2E layers.
- Develop and maintain E2E automation in Playwright for React applications, backend integration/unit tests in xUnit (.NET), and frontend unit tests in Vitest/Jest.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)—PR checks, nightly runs, pre-release gates, and post-deploy validation with parallel/sharded execution.
- Promote best practices in testing: testability, coverage strategy, meaningful assertions, test data management, and clean test code.
- Validate data flows across Azure SQL, ODS, and DWH layers; design data-driven scenarios and manage test data.
- Drive root-cause analysis, flaky test management, and reliability improvements; publish quality metrics and test artifacts for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with developers on acceptance criteria and test coverage; review test code in PRs and mentor on testability.
- Support UAT coordination—prepare environments, verify business scenarios, and document results.
