Job summary

Circle K Global Development in Warsaw is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own backlogs for cross-functional teams delivering retail, mobile payments and e-payment solutions across POS, cloud integration, and loyalty services. You will partner with architects, developers and QA, translating market needs into clear requirements and roadmaps.

The role requires hands-on ownership, understanding of technical systems, and strong communication with both developers and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience as Product Owner/TP0/PM in software
Strong technical foundation reading APIs, contracts and data models
Proven ability to write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria
Understanding of POS, retail checkout constraints
Experience with SCRUM and backlog tools (Jira/Confluence)
Ability to prioritize under pressure and align stakeholders
Fluent English and Polish

Responsibilities

Own and prioritise team backlog with epics, features and user stories
Translate business needs into clear, testable requirements
Define and maintain product roadmap balancing functionality with platform health
Specify non-functional requirements (performance, security, observability)
Collaborate with Solution Architects and developers on how rather than what
Track product metrics and drive backlog decisions
Coordinate cross-team dependencies and release notes
