Technical Product Owner – Roche Digital Technology (RDT)
We are looking for a Technical Product Owner for our Source‑to‑Procure (S2P) ecosystem to bridge the gap between technical execution and business objectives. This role sits within a global team of technologists and works closely with Senior Product Managers on the digital procurement roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the S2P product backlog, translating strategic business goals into actionable technical user stories.
- Lead the end‑to‑end scope and execution of large‑scale S2P initiatives, managing dependencies across cross‑functional teams.
- Optimize delivery methodologies by tailoring frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, Kanban, or ITSM to maximize efficiency.
- Act as a trusted advisor to a diverse group of stakeholders, navigating complex matrix environments to align expectations and build consensus.
- Diagnose system bottlenecks and lead root‑cause analysis to design and validate technical or workflow enhancement plans.
- Mentor team members, fostering collaboration, driving mutual accountability, and guiding the team through ambiguity.
Qualifications
- 6‑8 years of experience with procurement platforms (Source‑to‑Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, or Requisition‑to‑Pay), including at least 2 years supporting the life sciences or pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record of leading the delivery of complex features, major product releases, or service transitions in a product ownership or delivery management capacity.
- Hands‑on experience navigating environments as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Service Delivery Manager, or Agile Coach.
- Strong strategic acumen and ability to translate high‑level business goals into structured roadmaps and technical delivery strategies.
- Advanced problem‑solving skills and proficiency with modern delivery tools to analyze dependencies, run root‑cause analysis, and optimize workflows.
- Exceptional relationship‑building skills, coaching mindset, and ability to unlock team potential.
