As the Technical Product Owner (m/f/d) for the DIA Commercial Patient Support area, you will operate at the intersection of complex systems engineering and strategic commercial outcomes. You will own the technical vision, architectural coherence, and feature backlog for the platforms that enable our commercial customer service ecosystem. Acting as the definitive bridge between Business Product Owners (BPOs), engineering squads, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and enterprise architecture, you will translate high-level business priorities into precise, scalable, secure, and compliant technical implementations.
In this role, you will be the driving force behind the technical excellence and operational execution of your product area:
Outcome Accountability & Execution: Own the product backlog for assigned systems, prioritizing features and operational needs based on business value and compliance (CSV & QA best practices). You will actively champion high-value work and challenge low-impact efforts.
Architecture & Non-functional Excellence: Proactively ensure all solutions adhere to established architectural patterns, global technology strategies, and non-functional expectations (performance, reliability, scalability). (Strong Salesforce knowledge is a plus).
Business Collaboration: Partner closely with BPOs to align technical execution with commercial objectives, translating functional customer service needs into robust technical realities.
System Ownership & Governance: Serve as the accountable System Owner, ensuring applications remain fit-for-purpose, secure, and fully compliant with IT governance throughout their lifecycle.
Financial Responsibilities: Manage project budgets and resource allocation effectively, ensuring all initiatives are delivered within financial constraints and optimized.
Knowledge Transfer & Operational Continuity: Drive the structured capture of product knowledge, comprehensive system documentation, and operational runbooks to ensure high availability and seamless operational handovers.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Drive alignment across integrations, data workflows, and Managed Service Provider (MSP) coordination while actively participating in Agile ceremonies.
You are a technically fluent product leader with a track record of realizing value in complex, cross-functional settings:
Leadership & Coaching: Demonstrated experience defining tasks, coaching engineers, and successfully driving medium to large-scale technical initiatives.
Analytical Skills & Agility: Strong analytical skills with the ability to deeply understand business processes and translate them into agile, actionable technical specifications. You master agile principles (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) effortlessly.
Tech Expertise: Deep experience with API-first architectures, integration patterns, and event-driven approaches, as well as DevOps and platform engineering practices (CI/CD pipelines, automated validation, cloud-native operating models).
Quality & Governance Mindset: Hands-on experience owning testing strategies, defect management, IT governance, and system documentation for enterprise-scale platforms.
Commercial Acumen: Proven commercial acumen, with a track record of managing project budgets, optimizing resource allocation, and managing vendor costs.
Mentoring & Communication: Exceptional leadership and mentorship skills specifically for senior engineers (e.g., through design reviews) paired with strong, full professional fluency in English to effectively translate complex technical topics for varied stakeholder ecosystems.
