Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Technical Application Specialist in the Diagnostics division to support laboratories across Southern Poland, implementing and optimizing Grifols diagnostic solutions and serving as a scientific partner for lab professionals.

You will provide expert instrument and workflow guidance, deliver customer training, and collaborate with Sales, Service and Quality teams, with frequent on-site travel to client sites.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience in a clinical, hospital, blood bank, reference or diagnostic laboratory.
  • Experience with diagnostic systems, laboratory automation or application support.
  • Valid driving licence and residence in Poland, preferably within or near the supported region.

Responsibilities

  • Scientific & application support — provide expert guidance on Grifols diagnostic instruments, assays and workflows.
  • Customer training — deliver training during instrument implementation and throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Workflow optimization — support laboratories in improving testing processes and operational efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting — resolve application-related issues both remotely and on-site.
  • Relationship building — develop strong partnerships with laboratory managers, medical laboratory scientists and healthcare professionals.
  • Cross-functional collaboration — work with Sales, Service, Technical Support and Quality teams.
  • Product launches & method implementation — participate in new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Regular travel — visit customer sites across Southern Poland.

Role Mission

As a Technical Application Specialist within the Diagnostics division, you will support laboratories across Southern Poland (Lower Silesian, Opole, Silesian and Lesser Poland Voivodeships). Your mission is to help clinical laboratories implement, optimize and use Grifols diagnostic solutions, acting as a trusted scientific partner for laboratory professionals.

This role is ideal for candidates with hands‑on experience in medical or diagnostic laboratories who want to combine their scientific expertise with customer‑facing responsibilities .

Qualifications

Education
  • University degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Analytics, Laboratory Diagnostics, Biotechnology, Biology, Biomedical Sciences , or another relevant Life Science discipline.

  • Serology and blood group testing
  • Blood Transfusion Centres
  • Clinical laboratory automation
  • Application support for diagnostic systems
  • Customer training and laboratory staff education

We also welcome candidates from other diagnostic specialties such as Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Diagnostics, Immunology and Clinical Pathology.
