Job summary

XTB is a global financial technology company focusing on online trading. XTB seeks an Operations and Automation Lead to manage a multinational team, optimize trading systems, and drive AI-enabled improvements across processes.

You will support both retail and institutional clients, collaborate across teams to launch new financial instruments, and ensure compliant, efficient operation of trading platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in a financial institution, brokerage house, or financial markets (OTC/derivatives/ CFDs preferred).
• Experience in team management or strong leadership aptitude.
• Excellent knowledge of how trading systems function.
• Strong interest in AI and openness to innovative methods.
• Experience or willingness to develop in automation using Python and SQL for troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Team Management and Coordination:

• Coordinating the daily work of the Operations and Support Team.
• Conducting periodic performance evaluations for the team’s operational activities and direct reports.

Administration, Systems, and Automation (Including AI):

• Providing comprehensive administration of trading systems.
• Identifying areas for optimization and actively implementing automation into the team’s daily operational processes.
• Utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) practically to automate operational tasks, including working in a "vibe coding" model (collaborating with AI assistants to create scripts, code, and optimization solutions).
• Granting, managing, and overseeing access and permissions for trading systems.
• Administering technological solutions dedicated to institutional clients.
• Collaborating on the creation and development of applications that support automated trading and tools for OTC processes.

Operations and Transaction Control:

• Executing transaction corrections, including mass corrections and corrections of trades executed at off-market prices or during technical errors.
• Analyzing and clarifying the causes of off-market transactions and the reasons behind necessary corrections.

Inter-group Cooperation and Customer Support:

• Supporting Global Customer Support departments (Retail and Institutional) and foreign branches with daily operational matters, trading conditions, and trading system queries.
• Providing ongoing assistance in the client complaint resolution process.
• Collaborating with other teams (including the OTC Trading Team) to create and launch new financial instruments.

Documentation, Reporting, and Regulatory Compliance:

• Preparing substantive responses to letters and inquiries from regulatory bodies.
• Assisting in the creation of cyclic order execution reports for management and regulatory purposes.
• Developing and updating documentation related to transaction execution.
• Cooperating in the drafting of financial instrument specifications and other documentation regarding the order execution process.

Requirements

• Experience working in a financial institution, brokerage house, or financial markets (OTC markets / derivatives / CFDs preferred).
• Experience in team management or strong leadership aptitude.
• Excellent knowledge of how trading systems function.
• A strong interest in artificial intelligence and openness to innovative working methods.
• Experience or a strong willingness to develop in operational process automation (knowledge of Python, SQL, and readiness to use AI and vibe coding for technical troubleshooting).
• Analytical skills, accuracy, and strong troubleshooting abilities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) – essential for seamless communication with our global branches.
