Qualifications

• Min. 5 years in tax consulting or a comparable position of an internationally operating company, preferably in a Shared Services environment.
• Master’s degree in finance and accounting or similar with a tax focus
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Extensive knowledge of taxation laws, tax operations, and relevant tax reporting requirements
• Cross-functional knowledge and expertise in finance and accounting
• Distinct empathy, teamwork, and customer-centric service orientation
• Excellent SAP know-how and experience with SAP S/4HANA
• Ability to work in a diverse international environment

Responsibilities

• Managing the professional service delivery of the team and driving continuous improvement of direct and indirect tax services across countries in scope.
• Coordinating work preparation for tax compliance matters such as data gathering, reconciliations, and checks.
• Managing direct and indirect tax activities (CIT, WHT, VAT, Tax Accounting) for countries in scope.
• Proactively optimizing complex tax topics and developing standardized processes and procedures in taxation.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness of tax data and compliance with tax legislation and new regulatory requirements.
• Managing training and development of employees and stakeholders within the GBS Center.
• Supporting standardization of processes and procedures in direct and indirect taxation.
• Acting as key interface for internal GBS stakeholders and local business representatives on tax topics.
• Guaranting compliance with legislation and regulations and implementing new legal requirements.
• Following all company policies related to Finance, Taxation, IT, and related areas
