Job summary

LeverX, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant in Wroclaw to join our finance team.

You will manage tax data preparation, statutory reporting, and reconciliations, while owning CIT settlements and FX accounting for a multinational environment. The role requires 3+ years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of Polish tax rules (CIT/VAT), and proficiency in Excel; experience with CIT and NBP reporting is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience in an international company or accounting/finance environment.
• Good knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations (CIT and VAT).
• Experience with CIT settlements and deferred tax.
• Experience with GUS and NBP reporting; able to independently own reporting processes.
• Knowledge of KSeF and electronic invoicing.
• Experience with IFT-1R / IFT-2R reporting and tax residency documentation.
• Strong understanding of tax account reconciliations and discrepancies.
• Knowledge of month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Experience with foreign currency transactions and FX differences.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Willingness to take ownership of processes and implement where needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing reconciliation of advance payment accounts.
• Oversee tax administration including data preparation, calculations, and tax payments.
• Prepare and submit GUS statistical declarations (excluding DNU-K/BS).
• Prepare and submit NBP reporting and establish the process from scratch.
• Calculate, verify, and adjust provisions.
• Maintain CIT tax accounting and settlements including deferred tax.
• Prepare and account for set-off/netting transactions.
• Account for revenue and KSeF invoices.
• Compute and account for FX differences (tax and non-tax).
• Prepare and submit IFT-1R and IFT-2R forms.
• Regularly reconcile tax accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collect and monitor Tax Residency Certificates for B2B contractors.
• Provide ad hoc accounting and tax support to Chief Accountant and finance team.
