Job summary

Tate & Lyle, a global leader in food ingredients, is seeking a Travel & Expenses trainee in Łódź. You will support process compliance, help maintain documentation, and handle basic inquiries as part of the T&E team.

Ideal candidates are Finance/Accounting students with strong English, good Excel skills, and keen attention to detail. This role offers exposure to international processes within a shared services environment.

Qualifications

• Student status, preferred in Finance and Accounting, Economy, or a related field
• Experience gained in an international organisation (ideally shared services) would be an advantage
• Knowledge of other SSC specific process would be beneficial
• Basic Finance and Accounting knowledge
• Basic skills on MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and in writing
• Additional language will be an advantage.
• SAP knowledge would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of T&E processes would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the team in ensuring process compliance with internal procedures and guidelines.
• Assisting with updating process documentation (DPMs) under the guidance of senior team members.
• Conducting initial checks in Concur.
• Handling basic daily enquiries related to T&E operations.
• Contributing to meeting departmental targets by working in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and sharing ideas to enhance process efficiency.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the T&E function to support smooth service delivery.
• Taking part in cleansing activities and projects.
• Learning and developing knowledge in T&E.
• Preparing simple regular and ad hoc reports as requested.
