System Test Engineer

Job summary

Jit Team in Kraków is seeking a test engineer for BEV power electronics verification. You will join an international engineering team and work on testing in Hardware-in-the-Loop environments, collaborating with experts across multiple countries.

The role focuses on ASPICE-aligned testing, creating test plans, and performing system, integration, and software verification, with opportunities to travel and work in a hybrid setup in Poland.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits.
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN.
• Good knowledge of C and Python, with a basic understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models.
• Familiarity with CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, ControlDesk NG, ConfigurationDesk NG, Jira, Polarion, Plastic SCM, and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 is considered an advantage.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and SIL testing will be a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Fluency in English; German and/or French would be an advantage.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification activities.
• Design and execute: System Qualification Tests, Hardware-Software Integration Tests, System Element Integration Tests.
• Perform test execution, analyze results, and ensure adequate test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects through resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes.
• Support release activities by preparing release verification tests and test summary reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes.

Project

Join an international engineering team developing next-generation Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) solutions. In this role, you'll work on testing power electronics inverters and other key vehicle components using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments, collaborating with experts across multiple countries and disciplines.
