Job summary

Jit is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to own and expand automated test suites for a C#/.NET 8 application. The role blends automated and manual testing, with emphasis on database validation, failure diagnostics, and robust CI/CD testing pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA to ensure reliable, high-quality solutions. You will design and maintain automated tests, execute manual testing when needed, and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation
• 2+ years within .NET environments
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing
• Experience with CI/CD automation (Bitbucket, Bamboo)
• Practical experience with Git, code reviews, and test pipelines
• Experience with NUnit and test runners
• Ability to diagnose failures and debug applications
• Willingness to support manual testing as needed
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for a C#/.NET 8 application
• Execute and support selected manual testing as needed
• Build and maintain automated testing pipelines within CI/CD environments
• Perform database testing and validation using SQL
• Analyze test failures and conduct root cause investigations
• Participate in code reviews and promote testing best practices
• Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage and automation standards
• Maintain test frameworks and ensure scalability of automation solutions
