Job summary

Jit is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to own and expand automated test suites for a C#/.NET 8 application. The role blends automated and manual testing, with emphasis on database validation, failure diagnostics, and robust CI/CD testing pipelines.

You will collaborate with developers, analysts, and QA to ensure reliable, high-quality solutions. You will design and maintain automated tests, execute manual testing when needed, and contribute to code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test automation

We are looking for an experiencedSenior Automation Tester to take ownership of and further develop automated test suites for a C# / .NET 8 application. The role combines test automation with selected manual testing activities and focuses heavily on database validation, failure diagnostics, and maintaining high-quality CI/CD testing pipelines.You will work closely with developers, analysts, and QA professionals to ensure the reliability and quality of business-critical solutions.

Responsibilities you'll have

Design, develop and maintain automated test suites for a C#/.NET 8 application

Execute and support selected manual testing activities when needed

Build and maintain automated testing pipelines within CI/CD environments

Perform database testing and validation using SQL

Analyze test failures and conduct root cause investigations

Participate in code reviews and promote testing best practices

Collaborate with development teams to improve test coverage and automation standards

Maintain test frameworks and ensure long-term scalability of automation solutions

Expected competences and knowledge

• Minimum 5 years of experience in test automation and minimum 2 years within .NET environments

Strong knowledge of SQL and database testing

Experience with CI/CD automation, preferably using Bitbucket and Bamboo

Practical experience with Git, code reviews, and test pipeline maintenance

Experience with NUnit and test runners

Ability to diagnose failures, troubleshoot issues, and debug applications

Willingness to support manual testing activities when required

Strong communication and collaboration skills
