Job summary

Snowrelic Inc. is seeking a cloud support specialist to define and implement support services for cloud market success. The role involves troubleshooting VM availability, performance, and security, with a focus on virtualization and multi-cloud technologies.

You'll work with Windows and Linux environments, perform PowerShell scripting, and collaborate with Azure support to resolve complex technical scenarios across Storage, Networking, and compute resources.

Qualifications

• Good core understanding on Virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud providers such as VMware, GCP, AWS.
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments and OS concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting VM availability, performance, scalability and security.
• Hands on with PowerShell scripting.
• Azure IaaS experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• The definition and implementation of the support services required to win in the cloud market place.
• Resolve issues related to Virtual Machine availability and performance.
• Maintain security and scalability of cloud environments.
• Work on RCAs as per customer requirements.
• Assist with JSON template deployments and scripting tasks.
• Coordinate with Azure support to resolve technology-specific issues.
• Engage with cloud capabilities like Storage and Networking to resolve customer issues.

Job description

• The definition and implementation of the support services required to win in the cloud market place.
• Good core understanding on Virtualization technologies. Having worked with any cloud provider such as VMware, GCP, AWS etc. is preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server or Linux environments, good understanding of Operating system concepts (Windows OS, Linux OS [CentOS, Ubuntu, RHEL etc.] Active Directory, Networking, Storage) preferred.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with respect to Virtual Machine availability, performance, scalability and security. Work on RCAs as per customer requirements.
• Hands on with PowerShell scripting, json template deployments is an added advantage.
• Any prior experience with Azure services (IaaS) is preferred.
• Resolving customer issues including complex technical scenarios integrating several cloud capabilities (Microsoft Azure, Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, etc.) and scenarios supporting the service such as service availability, quality etc.
• Lead the integration with relevant CSS Azure support talent to resolve issues with specific technologies as part of Azure Support ecosystem.
