Job summary

Arηs Group, Part of Accenture, seeks a Cloud Engineer to administer Azure enterprise environments, design Landing Zones, and automate across Terraform, Ansible, and scripting languages. The role covers monitoring, development environment provisioning, and collaboration with DevOps teams.

You will implement infrastructure as code, maintain policies and assist with project meetings, bringing strong Azure knowledge and security awareness to a mission-critical public sector IT portfolio.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in information technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Cloud Engineer or comparable position.
• Holding certificates: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent level, internationally recognized alternative in AWS or GCP
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing or operating Azure Enterprise-Scale Landing Zones using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services covering identity, networking, compute, storage, containers, databases and related enterprise services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as a Service and DevOps principles.
• Strong scripting and infrastructure automation skills using technologies such as PowerShell, Terraform, Ansible, Bash or Go.
• Experience administering and scripting Linux environments, preferably Red Hat.
• Basic experience administering Microsoft systems.
• Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, auditing and monitoring tools.
• Experience with ticketing systems and Information Technology Infrastructure Library based processes.
• English language skills at B2 level or higher.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and communication skills, with a proactive and user-focused approach.
