Job summary

Pentoz is seeking a VMware Developer to design, deploy, and manage scalable virtual infrastructure across our multi-sector platforms. This is a remote role offering opportunities to automate deployments and optimize hybrid environments, ensuring performance and security at scale.

You will work with VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN; automate with PowerCLI, Ansible, and vRealize; integrate with AWS/Azure/GCP; contribute to IaC and CI/CD workflows; bring 3+ years in virtualization and VMware

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with VMware virtualization platforms in enterprise environments.
• Strong scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, PowerCLI, or Python.
• Familiarity with NSX, vRealize Suite, or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid is a plus.
• Understanding of cloud integrations, storage, and network virtualization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and vSAN.
• Automate deployments and configurations with PowerCLI, vRealize Orchestrator, or Ansible.
• Integrate VMware with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in hybrid or multi-cloud setups.
• Ensure system security, disaster recovery, and high availability for critical workloads.
• Support infrastructure as code (IaC) and DevOps workflows in CI/CD environments.
