Job summary

Beiersdorf Polska in Poznań is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to optimize inventory and ensure high product availability across receiving locations in line with service targets. You will perform daily alert-based planning, address short- and medium-term risks, and maintain master data for materials sourced to your locations.

You will collaborate with Demand Planners and other SC teams, support product launches, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning efficiency

Qualifications

  • Higher education in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Production Engineering.
  • Experience in production planning, inventory management or general supply chain (FMCG is a plus).
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret large data for quick decisions.
  • Very good knowledge of Excel; VBA, Power BI, Power Query or SAP BI is a plus.
  • Knowledge of SAP / APO / OMP is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal partners.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented attitude and ability to challenge processes.
  • Ability to work with business partners in a multicultural environment.
  • Flexibility, positive mindset and strong change management capability.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal inventory levels in receiving locations and maintain high product availability.
  • Daily alert-based planning to identify and address short- and medium-term supply risks.
  • Maintain and update master data settings related to materials sourced to locations.
  • Support planning of product launches and relaunches, optimizing service and minimizing leftovers.
  • Prepare weekly service level comments and transparently report constraints, risks and priorities.
  • Identify low stock situations and propose market-ready solutions for best on-shelf availability.
  • Calculate and maintain optimal safety stock parameters using statistical and manual methods.
  • Communicate regularly with Demand Planners, Network Inventory Planners, and other SC teams.
  • Participate in international projects to improve planning processes and stock levels.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning efficiency and service quality.

  • Daily alert based planning: identifying and addressing short and medium term supply risks, correcting master data issues and coordinating actions to protect service levels;
  • Maintaining and updating all master data settings related to materials sourced to your locations;
  • Supporting the planning of product launches and re launches: ensuring high service while minimizing leftovers and managing phase in/phase out processes
  • Preparing weekly service level comments and providing transparency on supply constraints, risks and priorities
  • Identifying low stock situations and preparing solutions for the market to ensure the best on-shelf availability
  • Calculating and maintaining optimal safety stock parameters based on statistical and manual methods

Your Profile
  • Higher education, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Production Engineering
  • Experience in production planning, inventory management or a general supply chain environment (FMCG is a plus)
  • Very good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret large amounts of data for quick and effective decision making
  • Very good knowledge of Excel; experience with VBA, Power BI, Power Query or SAP BI will be an asset;
  • Knowledge of SAP / APO / OMP will be considered a strong advantage
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal partners
  • Proactive, solution oriented attitude and willingness to challenge existing processes
