Responsibilities

• Inventory management to maintain optimal stock and avoid shortages or excess.
• Supplier coordination to trigger purchase orders and manage supplier relationships for on-time delivery.
• Logistics management including collection from suppliers and delivery to customers.
• Forecast analysis to review demand forecasts and adjust orders.
• Problem solving to resolve bottlenecks and disputes in the supply chain.
• System maintenance to ensure accuracy of ERP/MRP data and master data updates.
• Communication with Customer Service to share order status and delivery times.

Job description

As a supply chain specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory levels, analyzing demand, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and ensure customer satisfaction while optimizing stock levels and minimizing costs.

Key responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain optimal inventory to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Supplier Coordination: Trigger purchase orders and manage relationships with suppliers (interco and 3rd party) to ensure on-time delivery.
• Logistics: Manage the collection of goods from suppliers and coordinates execution of deliveries to customers.
• Forecast Analysis: Review demand forecasts and adjust order quantities to meet changing demand.
• Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain. Participate in solving disputes and claims.
• System Maintenance: Ensure accuracy of inventory data in the ERP/MRP system. Maintain master data (create new items, update reorder points)
• Communication: Exchange and communicate order status and delivery times with Customer Service. Is the interface between suppliers and Customer Service

Requirements:

Experience with MRPs, order replenishment, order processing, logistics

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

5+ years of experience in material planning, inventory control, or purchasing.

Excellent communication skills in English and in German
