Job summary

Jobtailor in Wrocław seeks a skilled MRO Sourcing Specialist to drive procurement of maintenance, repair and operations for the chemical industry. You will manage contracts, evaluate supplier performance and lead e-sourcing activities using Ariba and SAP S/4HANA.

You will coordinate independently with the maintenance team and influence stakeholders to optimize spend while ensuring compliant Source-to-Contract processes. Fluency in English and German, plus German market experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in (industrial) engineering, (technical) business administration or other relevant qualifications.
• At least 3 years of work experience in MRO sourcing, e.g. materials and services in the chemical industry.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Experience with the German market, suppliers and contracts.
• Experience with e-sourcing tools such as SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and SBN is beneficial.
• Knowledge of legal requirements in the German chemical industrial sector is beneficial.
• Proactive, service-oriented approach with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• General technical understanding of typical industrial needs.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and pipeline, balance capacity versus demand, shorten cycle times and improve SLA adherence.
• Accelerate digital and automation adoption through e-tools, templates, analytics and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in (industrial) engineering, (technical) business administration or other relevant professional qualifications in the related area
• At least 3 years of work experience in MRO sourcing, e.g. as a sourcing specialist related to materials and services in the chemical industry
• Fluent in English and German
• Experience working in the German market, with German suppliers and German contracts
• Experience with e-sourcing tools such as SAP 4/Hana, Ariba and SBN is beneficial
• Knowledge of legal requirements in the German chemical industrial sector is beneficial
• Proactive, service-oriented approach with strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills
